Some time in college I got an intense fear of medical settings. I've been in therapy for some of my phobias for years now, and my new psychiatrist prescribed me a sedative for the lab work, the first psychiatrist to take my phobia seriously!! I was able to get through it thanks to a seriously amazing phlebotomist. I know its something so small but it feels like the beginning of finally taking care of myself and I'm so proud of myself.
