Normally around this time, I am very big on saying "Happy Holidays".
Why?
Because I understand this world is huge, and I'm not the only one on it!
It's called being a decent person. There are about 14 religious holidays from around "thanksgiving" to "New Year". I'll never understand (nor do I care to) those who fight others and ONLY say "Merry Christmas" refusing to acknowledge that there is more to this world than just them.
I was raised Christian. I was raised in a home that serves and helps others. I'm not going to discredit what someone else believes just because it doesn't match my own beliefs. What others believe is just as real and valid.
As for me, I celebrate Christmas with the rest of my family. So on Christmas, today, I say "Merry Christmas".
