Swipe for result pic. Recipe below: Preheat your oven at your usual baking temperature (probably about 180 degrees Celsius). Mix 225 grams of flour (I used 150 gr white flour and 75 gr wholemeal flour - rye is good in there too) with about 150 gr of sugar and 100 gr of vegetable oil. Add 3 overripe bananas and mix until smooth. Add spices like ginger and cinnamon. Add a dash of milk (I usually use soya milk, but cow or oat works too), mix in and then add a dash of lemon juice. Add half a teaspoon of baking powder and half a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix in nuts and/or sultanas. Pour into a baking tin (I use a silicon one so I don't have to line it) and put it in the oven. Bake until done. You can check this buy sticking a skewer in the middle - if it comes out without batter stuck to it, the cake is done. Enjoy!
