Singing and playing/making music (I've played the flute and violin). Being part of a groups of people making music together is probably the most empowering thing I've ever done.. it is simply euphoric. Being completely surrounded by loud, powerful sounds is just crazy. I love beautiful sounds and I've been super lucky to be a part of awesome teams of people making awesome things happen and man I miss that part of my life! I vividly remember during our last performance of Jupiter just (don't tell the conductor lol) zoning out and playing from memory just tuning into perc + listening to what was happening around me and gosh that was so powerful. It really was low key the most perfectly organised chaos at times and I think that is so cool! In the bus we used to sing our parts to songs and it was super fun haha. Oop I am crying! Good mems. Oh and our city also does a thing where choirs come together to raise money and sing all sorts of fun (pop) songs and I'll tell you what singing with 500+ people on stage is something else too! Super fun. so yea HAHAHA
