Earlier this week, I took a day off for mental health and fun. I haven't been almost anywhere at all for a year and a half. So, my friend and I, who are both secluded hermits, masked up and went to the casino for lunch. I spent $10 on lunch, $10 on the penny machines, and then we went for a ride all around the reservation and I showed him where I have taken language classes, and where our teaching lodge is, and basically gave him a tour of all of the things i was missing about life right now. Ahhhh, life. I know it's strange, but walking around that particular casino is like hanging out with a dear old friend. We went there MANY a night after our teaching lodge. And then Sundays after our language classes at the cultural center. It's like paying tribute to my friends by spending money at their casino. And man, how I missed it. <3
