I had talked to my MIL and she said the smallest thing could make you start crying after she is gone. And it has been exactly that. That was my Rita’s bed by the back door. It had been raining, so we put a towel down for our other doggo so we could dry her off. Daddy was cleaning the windows yesterday while I was inside doing Mom things. He had balled that towel up and tossed it into the bed, he doesn’t even remember doing it, to open the doors and clean inside and outside. I was walking by and instinctively, because I saw a black mass huddled up, I went to go pet her and realized it was a towel when the awareness hit.I sat down and started petting that black towel and cried for longer than I care to admit. So, thank you for being patient. ❤️
